These pictures showcase a physical prototype we made this school year. We made this in hopes that we would achieve more of our goals and an even more productive relationship with our target community.

ABACA PAPER

COTTON MUSLIN BATISTE

the outer layer is made of abaca, known for its strength and ability to be hydrophobic, which means it does not allow water droplets containing viruses through. this makes it an excellent outer layer for a face mask while also being biodegradable.

the inner layer is cotton lining batiste, designed for breathability and comfort of the wearer while remaining biodegradable.

THE CURRENT MISSION

THE FUTURE MISSION

we aim to prevent the spread of bacteria, germs, and diseases in an environmentally friendly manner. we would also like to provide our face masks to the occupants of the jrn and jrf buildings, hoping it would become at least a popular eco-friendly alternative. lastly, we also hope to gain feedback from them this year, through surveys.

in the future, we aim to achieve the following:

- the ability to sell out product to hospitals and business

- improved mask quality and materials

- improved partnership and spaces for testing purposes

- improved funding
